Another trip

yup yup :) Since it's holiday tom, Hubby and I will be off to Chicago. We will be leaving tom around 7am and we will be there by 3pm. Oh,we will meet my MIL and her sister there too. That will be my first time there and I'm very excited to see the City.
I have to go.. I still have a lot of things to do ... my things are not yet packed and Im still doing the laundry :( have a great weekend everyone!

A new bag

Im sooo happy!!! got a new bag and wallet from Coach! Chris allowed me to buy one set since this is my first purchased for myself technically. There's a lot of styles in the store and I don't know which to buy. We're there for like 2 hours and the Husband was patiently waiting, he even helped me too choose which style I'll buy. I like the these bags but I have to stick with the budget, these bags cost almost $400.00

which I think it is too expensive for a bag. I'll just save my money to buy a new lense ;p

Shopping Day.

Will watch Manny Pacquiao's fight tonight at our friends house in downtown then will play poker afterwards. But before that as planned, Chris and I will go to Albertville Premium Outlets. It's about 30minutes drive from our apartment. Im very excited to buy cheap designer stuffs! I hope this time, I will get something for myself :) wish me luck!

One of those is Tyra's Private Make-up Lesson which I have seen yesterday. Wearing make-up is a must for working Ladies. Perfect business attire comes with perfect make-up and perfume. Picnic at Medicine Lake

Yup yup, Chris and I went out for a picnic last night. Went to Medicine Lake, it's like 10 minutes drive from our home. It's very comfortable to live here, no traffic and we don't have to drive for hours to relax and enjoy the nature. Everything seems to be right... Im loving it.
It was our first time and both of us was very excited. Chris even bought a small basket so we can put our food there. We had spareribs Adobo and Lays chips. Since it's summer, there's a lot of people in the Lake most of them are kids playing in the sand and fishing. It's not as crowded as the beaches in the Phils during summer time. You can relax and take your time watching the kids palying around. Oh there's wake boarding and speedboat too :)

The Pursuit of Happyness

Last night, Chris and I watched Pursuit of Happyness. A movie that inspired us and proved that whining and blaming other people will do nothing... As what I've always say to my friends and family, "count your blessing"... this is one of my inspirational words that I've always tell to myself whenever I feel down and it works! All of us have blessings, yup in different packages. And I thank God for all the wonderful and even the sad things that happend to me. Problems, for me it is a test which measures our faith and strength... to mold and sharpen us, so when we face another challenge we're tought enought. If I can't get what I want ,I just think that something better is coming up :) JUST BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH! Look at the brighter side of life :)
Let's back to the movie, Will Smith stars in this movie inspired by the true story if Chris Gardner, a salesman struggling to build a future for himself and his 5 year-old son. His girlfriend left him. Chris is left to raise his son on his own. His determination finally pays off when he lands an unpaid intership in a competitve stockbroker-training program, where only one in twenty interns will make it. Chris experience to sleep in the streets and even behind the locked doors of a metro station bathroom. With self-confidence, determination and love and trust of his son, Chris Gardner rises above his obstacles to become a Wall Street legend.

I cooked Adobo!

Yes I cooked Spareribs Adobo for dinner. The Husband liked it! Oh I hope he really likes it and not just he wants me to feel better since I cooked for him. We went to Medicine Lake afterwards, it's 10 minutes drive from our home. The Husband wanted to take a walk since his tummy is getting bigger. He needs some extra exercise :) Actually WE need exercise.
The Lake is nice.I like it :) We will go there again tom for a picnic dinner :) by the way I took some photos, will post it here soon. Bye for now, the husband is waiting for me. We'll watch a movie tonight, Pursuit to Happyness.

Weekend recap

Last weekend, Chris and I went to Fil-Minnesotan Association Basketball Invitational Tournament. I was able to go to downtown, yup yup we're living in the suburb and I'm telling you man...Im loving it! I met new friends too :) They are Filipino's working from an IT Company in the Phils and they were just sent here for a training. They will be here for a couple of months, hope for a couple of years :) They are nice :) I feel at home with them :) they are 3 couples and the rest are single.Very nice people :)
We picked-up Lorence and Jomax in their apartment in down towm, it's 15 miutes away from our home. Down town is like Sydney! the achitectures and buildings is nice oh! there's a lot of people too :) most of the restaurantas are full.
Arrived in the Gym by 930am, can you believe it there's like 200++ Filipinos's joined the tournament? I thought we're only few Filipino's living in Minnesota because when we attended the mass a week ago, Chris and I are the only Filipino inside the Church. Im glad to know that there's more :)
Had a buffet dinner at Grand at Saint Paul after... well, the food is not as good as Dad's or Heat but we enjoyed it :) chitchatting with new found friends and the never ending crab legs. Hmmm... I miss Cibo and Heat!
After dinner we went to Cathedral and attended a Mass. Chris brought me to Marshalls to check if there's a new bag unfortunately it is closed aready... they close early on weekends.... if in Manila, Malls are still open until 10pm on weekends here are different they close at 6pm... we decided to call it a day and the two of us went home... better luck next time ;)

I can't scrap!

Even I want to scrap I can't... I left the powercord of my Laptop in my Aunt's place in LA while Hubby's notebook doesn't have PS :( I have a lot of pictures from our previous trip to Vegas and I want to make some LO's for Auntie.... hmmm hopefuly she will send the powercord to me soon. In the meantime, I'll just blog hopping and visit my fellow Bebot's blog :)

Im Back!

I've been out of the Cyber world for a while because I got sick... Thank God Im better now, just have cough :(
Arrived in Minnesota last Sat. My flight from Houston to Minnesota was very scary, because of the storm. We landed 30minutes later than what was scheduled. Thank God we're safe! my ears really hurts because of the pressure I even felt that my left eardum was broken :( I called my Dr. immediately, we agreed that I will send him an email. He replied and ask me to take some medication... Im praying that things will be alright...

Im Sick

yeah, that's why I can't go out and scroll around :( too bad tsk! tsk! tsk!
The Husband went back to Minnesota and I will be staying with my Aunt until Sat. Im not feeling well since we got back from Vegas last Monday. I hate this feeling! even I want to go out and see the whole City I can't! :( I took some medicines and some Vitamins, but I still have fever. Im helpless arg! I stayed in the house for two days now. I drink lots of water and take medicine every 4 hours but nothings change... This is the first time that I get sick for the past 7 years. God! Im praying that I'll be fine tom so I could visit the nice places in the City. I'll be in Minnesotta on Sat and will not have a chance to scroll around :(

Arrived at LA International Airport at 8pm last June 6 while the Husband arrived from Minnesota around 1130pm... Man! that's 3 1/2 hours! see how the wife patiently waiting for the husband? Im improving :)
I hugged my Aunt when I saw her. God! I miss her sooo much! she looked 10 years younger... can you believe it,she's turning 40 on Sept? well, it's in the genes ;)
She and her friends picked-up us from the airport and went straight to their apartment.
We stayed at Tita Penchie's place, they are so Hospitable! They treated us like their special guest. They even gave us baon for our trip to Vegas :) Thank you Tita Penchie and Tito Ervin! mwah! you're one of the best!

My last day at work

today is my last day at work, my collegues doesn't know that Im not working anymore *lol* just prentending and downloading digital freebies from the net *lol* Be quiet ladies, I know know.... Im supposed to create some SO's and following-up proposal to clients, hmmm Im doing your LO's, so please be quiet? :)
Had lunch at Kimpura in Greenhills with our AEVP and the rest of the team. I love Japanese food! most especially tempura, shushi and California maki! yummy!oh, I forgot my cam so I don't have any pic to post here... :( We have another dinner for tonight at Contis, this time it's on Liz. Hmmm, Im not wondering why Im gaining weight, it's obvious right ;)

Officially.

A lot of things had happened last week, dinner with friends almost everyday, visited most important clients and shopping for last minute. Oh, my things are not yet packed! cramming!

Tom will be my last day at work and I have a lunch date with my teammates. The days flew so fast! 4 days from now I will be in LA to meet my dearest Auntie and my loving Hubby :) I can't wait to see them - - most especially to go to different Outlet stores ;p yipppeee!!

Well, this is it... since I was a child, having my own happy family is all I am dreaming of. A couple of days from now, we will be experiencing how to leave on our own - - - just the two of us. Officially out from my comfort zone but I am excited at the same time… looking after our own stuff, doing the laundry, cleaning, washing dishes,buying groceries and most of all budgeting expenses seriously (which I think Hani is the best person to do this *lol* ) I can now see myself preparing breakfast and dinner for Chris... oh, if he insist that he will cook for us, by all means --- I will allow him :) Hubby is a good cook!

Century Tsukiji

Right after the Ceremony the three of us went straight to Century Park Hotel.My friend Judy treat us for a dinner at Century Tsukiji. We love Japanese Food! Although the prices is kindly expensive the food is great!!! As expected, Ng followed. It's been two years since the last time we had dinner, Auntie was still here. Oh! that's before Auntie left for the US... grabe tagal na pala talaga... Im sure she will get envious when she see this pictures.

My friend's Wedding

Dandy and I run to the altar and took some pictures... and itong lalaking ito hindi nya mapigil ang sarili nya at mag comment :) "sha ba yung father of the Bride" then we laugh *lol*. Originally they are my Auntie Marissa's friends, napasabit lang ako :) When I graduated she asked me to join them, they go to Baclaran Church every Wednesday. Grabe tagal na, that was 8 years ago and I am the youngest in the group... single pa sila when I joined them and until now single pa din sila *lol* It's nice din to have older friends, I mean older than me :) 8-10 years ang gap namin but I haven't had a hard time dealing with them.... Oh well, I miss those days... dinner before we go to Church and Coffee after Novena... the never ending kwento of Dennis (Yap and Ng) and most of all I miss the bonding...

I still remember when I introduced my ex-bf, daming comment! since I am the youngest feeling ng mga ate at kuya ko eh hindi pa ako pwedeng magka BF kaya hayun mega comment talaga sila :) most especially when I told them that Im getting married, lahat sila same question... "sigurado ka na ba? pag isipan mo na muna?" *lol* lalo na yung mga kuya... hahaha naunahan ng bunso... kakatuwa at kaka miss sila ... Oh well it's nice to have a friends like them :)

After a showdown in which Simon declared David Archuleta the knockout winner on Tuesday, David Cook took home the big prize last Wednesday night. Before the winner was announced, Simon apologized to Cook, saying that after he went back and watched the show, he was bordering on being disrespectful toward him. I agree and commend Simon for realizing this. :)

yup yup, Im too excited to see my Aunt :) Hubby and I was talking yesterday and agreed that we will meet at LA too ;) We're planning to go to Vegas together, isn't sounds sweet?;) feeling honeymoon ** lol** Thanks Han!mwah! He will just stay there with me for 3 days, he has to go back to Minnesota on Monday that week to work while the new housewife will stay in LA and spend the whole week with her loving Aunt :)
I need catch up and explore the City with her. I miss her so much! We've been together since I was 2 years old. She's 10 years older than me. We grew up together and we're like sisters --- sometimes we fight too even she's leaving miles away **lol** We have common friends too! actually it's her friends sabit lang ako :) I am the youngest in the group but I am the first who got married! Napag iiwanan na ang Lola't Lolo ko hahaha

As a simple gift for Mother's Day, I treat her and my Aunt for a Lunch and a swedish massage... Im glad they loved it! and to complete the day, I cooked for them :) sounds sweet? :) We had Lasagna and Mango shake for dinner! yummy! :)

Raining in summer time?!? This is the effect of Global Warming... its really horrible! i know
we've all heard about the effects of global warming, in TV Commercials, Radio, news papers and etc. but have we really, really understood them?

here are some of its devastating effects:
- melting of the polar caps,rising of tides everywhere, the disappearance of low islands (damang dama na sa Pinas, ex. Litex in Malabon)
- the rising of the world's temperature, thus causing droughts and changes in weather patterns (like now, it's summer but it's raining :( )
- the heating of the waters of the world and garbages in the sea and river... thus causing corals and marine life to die..

Yes, we can save the Earth in our own little ways, we can prevent global warming. Here are some ways:

***don't let your car idle for more than five minutes! aside from cars emitting carbon monoxide, it also give off carbon dioxide!that contributes to the greenhouse effect.

*** unplug your phone once it finishes charging! once your phone is fully charged, since it is plugged, it still uses up energy

***conserve paper! as much as possible, use scratch paper, recycle paper, don't let the unused paper from notebooks of the past stay unused! the more paper you use, the more trees are cut down, and every tree that is cut down releases so much carbon dioxide!

***switch off lights when you don't need them! use natural light in the morning =) switch off lights before leaving the room. also, turn off any appliance when you don't really need them anyway!

*** carpool =) which I normally do when going to work ;) I save money and help to save the Earth :)

It's hard to say goodbye

Today I tender my resignation... It's hard to say goodbye from my Boss and colleague.... This was a difficult decision, as working for them has been a positive experience and one for which I am thankful. I have learned a great deal and experieced different benefits, from GC's to trips. However,as much as I want to stay the time has come for me to move on, to be with my husband and start a family..... * sniff* * sniff* * sniff**

On the brighter side, less than two months from now I will be with Hani :)
